Terms and conditions – Jølster 365

  1. General conditions
    1. These terms apply for Jølster 365 AS and those who make agreements with Jølster 365 AS according to confirmation (guest)
    2. Jølster 365 AS is responsible for all transactions which runs through jolster365.no.
    3. Jølster 365 AS is responsible that our subcontractors get paid for what the guest booked through us. Our subcontractors are responsible for their own part of their program; full insurances, licenses, equipment, staffing and other things, which are needed according to the laws.
    4. The guests booking on jolster365.no must be at least 18 years old. This apply for all goods and / or services that can be ordered on the website, excluded ordering of cabins / apartments (j.f § 1.5)
    5. When ordering cabins / apartments, the person ordering must be at least 20/23 years old.
    6. Jølster 365 AS has no responsibilities for errors made by guests if they do not read and follow our terms. These conditions/rules protect you as a guest and Jølster 365 AS as a distributor.
  2. Booking
    1. A booking is binding as soon as a booking number is assigned to the guest and payment is completed. It is the guest’s responsibility to verify that the arrival and departure dates, as well as everything else that is of significance for the booking, is correct.
  3. Payment
    1. The guest is paying 100% of the price when booking through jolster365.no. The guest has to bring the receipt with upon arrival. 3D Secure is enabled for the website.
    2. Our partner PayEx is responsible for keeping credit card numbers and codes safe in accordance to the requirements defined in the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
  4. Insurance
    1. We recommend all our customers to get the necessary insurance agreements for travelers, in case of illness, loss or damage to luggage, accidents, liability and others.
  5. Conditions for products ordered on jolster365.no
    1. Cancellation
      1. If the guest cancel 30 days or more before arrival, Jølster 365 AS will refund 100 % of the amount paid. The refund is transferred to the credit card used for the booking.
      2. If the guest cancel between 29 days and 10 days before arrival, Jølster 365 AS will refund 50 % of the amount paid. The refund is transferred to the credit card used for the booking.
      3. If the cancellation occurs less than 10 days before arrival, the payment will not be refunded.
    2. Change of booking
      1. Change of arrival and / or departure dates should happen by phone or email directly to the place the guest are going to stay at.
    3. Check-in, check-out and arrival at all accommodation entities
      1. Check-in for all lodging is from 15.00 on day of arrival
      2. Check-out for all lodging entities are at 11 / 12.00 on departure day.
      3. When skipasses is sold in a package together with accommodation, the guest can pick up the skipass either at the accomodation place or at Jølster Skisenter. This can be agreed directly with the accomodation place.
    4. Complaints at the accommodation place
      1. If the guest has complaints about the accomodation upon arrival or during the stay, the guest must contact the reception immediately so that they have the opportunity to solve the problem.
      2. If the guest waits to report the problems until the time of departure or later, the accomodation place will not compensate financially or give any refund.
    5. Specific conditions for cottages / apartments
      1. Electricity is included. Firewood is not included and must be ordered separately.
      2. Your stay is based on self-catering. Guests should bring their own bedding and towel, or order this separately. It is not allowed to sleep in beds without bedding or sleeping bags.
      3. The guest is responsible for any damage that is not caused by normal use. For insurance damage the deductible will be charged to the guest.
      4. The cabin or apartment must be left tidy and waste must be thrown into garbage pails close to the cabins.
      5. The final cleaning is not always included in the rent, this is shown when the guest is booking on each individual space.
      6. In some cabins/apartments it is not legal to bring pets, this is specified in each place.
    6. Conditions for ski passes
      1. The ski pass is personal and can not be transferred to others.
      2. Lost ski passes or tickets will not be replaced.
      3. There is no return rights on ski passes.
      4. If the guest breaks the rules of the skislopes, the ski pass will be confiscated. The rules can be read at jolsterskisenter.no.
      5. The host for the skislopes will not give compensation for tickets due to bad weather, electricity or machin trouble or similar situations.
    7. Conditions for ski hire
      1. Cansellation: See section 5.1
      2. Delivery of equipment:
        Equipment ordered through jolster365.no can be retrieved in Jølster Ski Center’s ski hire.
      3. Return of equipment:
        Equipment must be returned in Jølster Ski Center’s ski hire within the end of the day.
      4. Refund:
        The guest will not get refund because of downtime due to bad weather, electricity or machin trouble or similar situations.
    8. Conditions for ski school
      1. Cancellation: See section 5.1

    9. Force Majeure and unsatisfactory weather conditions
      Jølster 365 AS and our subcontractors are not held liable for unsatisfactory weather conditions, closed facilities or other circumstances that are located outside the company control. We take reservations about mispricing, description of the services and technical problems that may arise. The parties may withdraw from the agreement if the goods purchased can not be used because of war, natural disasters, prolonged water or electricity supply, and similar events such as neither Jølster 365 AS nor the guest could predict or inflict.
